I'm a first time home buyer (new construction) who had an excellent experience working with Lia. She's a professional and passionate realtor who truly cares about her home buyers. Here are some highlights from my experience:
Communication/Responsiveness: Lia ALWAYS got back to me within 24 hours, and usually it was within 1 hour. It didn't matter whether it was the middle of the day, or on a Sunday evening, she was on top of things. She also was willing to make last minute changes to her schedule to accommodate the builder's schedule.
Process Expertise: Lia was able to explain every step of the process so that I really didn't have to do much thinking! She scheduled meetings with the builder, coordinated with the lender, followed up with the closing attorney. Follow Lia's instructions and you'll be set.
Negotiation Skills: The builder tried to delay the closing date more than I was willing to do so, and Lia skillfully negotiated a date that worked for both parties. The price wasn't negotiable because this was a new construction.
Local Knowledge: I had picked out the home before contacting Lia, but she was able to provide insight that helped me solidify my decision.
Final Note: I had been traveling for work on the day of the pre-settlement walk-through, so Lia went in my stead. She took notes and pictures, and sent them to me so I could stay in the know. Talk about customer service!
